Can I Embed a Flickr Slideshow?

You can embed a Flickr slideshow into a post. However, it is NOT as simple as just copying and pasting the “Embed HTML” code that you can get from the “Share” button when on Flickr viewing a slideshow.

You can download a plug-in, and with some code adjustments, you’ll be able to embed the Flickr slideshow.  This looks great, and is a great solution.  But the downside is you have to do more work, and have to feel comfortable adding a single line of code to a post.

Here’s a link to a website that has all the details: http://blog.red7.com/how-to-embed-flickr-slideshows-in-wordpress-blogs/

Another work around:  add an image to a post, and then include a link to the slideshow.  People can follow the link and see the slideshow on your Flickr page, instead of embedded here.

Not the best or easiest solutions, but until WordPress better supports Flickr slideshows, it’s what we have.
